Copyright and content removal
Updated October 15, 2026
Lines are written by readers, not by Frasy. We respect copyright and promptly remove anything a rights holder validly claims.
How to request removal of a line
From the line itself: open it, press “Report” and choose “Copyright”.
Or use the form on the Contact page (reason “Copyright”) and include: (1) the protected work and who the rights holder or their representative is; (2) the exact text of the line and, if you can, the date you saw it; (3) your contact details; (4) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized; and (5) a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
What we do
We review the claim and remove the line, including copies kept on shelves, when it is valid. We may notify the person who posted it where we can.
Anyone who believes a removal was a mistake can write to us explaining why, and we will review it.
We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe rights.
What we expect from readers
Only short quotations, naming the book when known, or your own text. Long excerpts of protected works are not allowed. Lines last only a few days.
